Dr. David Ewing-Chow is Board certified and is currently Chief of Ophthalmology for Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, and River Hospital, Alexandria Bay. Since the addition of the Alexandria Bay location of Jefferson Eye Surgeons, Dr. Ewing-Chow divides his time between the two locations specializing in adult and pediatric eye care.

A few of the many services he provides to his patients are plastic and reconstructive and cosmetic surgery for the eye lids, glaucoma management, diabetic eye care, medical and cosmetic Botox treatments.

Dr. Ewing-Chow earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Royal University Hospital and University of Toronto, Canada. He is fellowship trained in Ocular Oncology and Ocular Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery from the University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Gregory N. Joy is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, a Certified LASIK Surgeon and has a clinical faculty appointment at Upstate Medical University where he has been active in surgical training of Ophthalmology residents.

He received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Dr. Joy specializes in Cataract surgery using traditional or multifocal lens implants, LASIK refractive surgery, Glaucoma and Diabetic eye care.

He brings a vast breadth of experience to his patients via the diverse background of other professionals he's worked with in previous Ophthalmology and LASIK Surgeon environments.
